Social Justice
The Ottawa Black Diaspora Coalition
Currently 12 Individuals are facing charges of mischief regarding a protest that occured on November 19th through till the early morning of Novmber 21st. If you’ve got the funds please consider sending an e - transfer to the Ottawa Black Diaspora Coalition. When sending your transfer: Insert (1) of the following subject lines “Movement Fund” or “Legal Support Fund”. The Justice for Abdirahman Coalition
The Justice for Abdirahman (JFA) Coalition (“the Coalition”) is a group formed within days of Mr. Abdi’s death following a Somali-community town hall that took place on July 26, 2016. The Coalition is based in Ottawa and supported by local and national advocacy groups. The Coalition’s objectives are to obtain greater transparency, challenge racial inequity, increase support for mental health needs and bring positive change to our law enforcement institutions in order to secure justice for the late Mr. Abdi and his family. RAVEN
Raven is a charity that focues on fundraising or legal services for Indigenous People’s access to justice with a primary focus on indgenious fronted - environmental justice. They support the assertion of the inherent and constitutionally protect rights of Indigenous Peoples, follow their work as they support various actions via social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
Tiny House Warriors
Tiny House Warriors is a movement to re - establishing village sites and asserting their authority over their unceeded Territories. The Tiny Houses Themselves are provided to Secwepemc familes facing housing crises because of Colonial inequity. Keep up with the Tiny House Warriors via social media (Facebook, Youtube).

Unist’ot’en Legal Fund
Unisto’ot’en has and continues to be a source and beacon of resistance for over 10 years. It is a space of Indigenous sovereignty dedicated to healing and active decolonization. Black Legal Action Centre
The Black Legal Action Centre (BLAC) is a not-for-profit corporation that delivers legal aid services to low / no income Black Ontarians. They work to combat individual and systemic anti - Black racism. They educate those within and outside their community to empower, advocate and litigate for justice in the face of systemic racism. Black Youth Helpline
The Black Youth Helpline works to encourage and foster “productive futures for children and youth”, through the “prevention of social, psychological breakdown in communities through a focus on education, health and community development.”
First Nations Child & Famliy Caring Society

Black Woman In Motion:
Black Women in Motion is Toronto based organization that empowers and supports black womxn and survivors of sexual violence. They work within an anti - racist, trauma informed framework to create culturally revlevant content, and educational tools and healing spaces / economic opportunites for black womxn. AAQITAUVIK HEALING CENTER
Aaqtiauvik Healing Center provides healing through training, healing workshops, conferences and seminars. The healing centre aims to develop, empower and maintain a strong Inuit community through a holistic approach to programming and services.

THE CEE Centre For Young Black Professionals
The CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals is a Toronto based charity dedicated to addressing economic and social barriers affecting black youth ages 14 and over. Their activities are focused on youth workforce development, education, and advocacy to influence systems and policy.
The National Centre for Collaboration in Indigenous Education
The National Centre for Collaboration in Indigenous Education is grounded in principles of respect, reciprocity, and relationship, which are understood in Indigenous ways and honoured according to Indigenous protocols and customs. NCCIE facilitates collaborative networking among communities, leaders, parents, educators, Elders, Knowledge holders, practitioners, policy makers and researchers to advance the success of Indigenous education across Canada and to support efforts in reconciliation for all Canadians. The Indigenous Bar Association in Canada (IBA) is a non-profit professional association for First Nation, Inuit and Métis persons trained in the field of law.
Black Artist’ Network in Dialogue (BAND)
The Black Artists’ Networks in Dialogue is a organization dedicated to supporting, documenting and showcasing the artistic/ cultural contributions of Black artists in Canada and beyond.
Black Physicians’ Association of Ontario (BPAO)
The Black Phsycians’ Assocation of Ontario strives to have equal representation of Black Health Care Providers within the province of Ontario. Part of their mission is to work towards Health equity for Black Ontarians.
Canadian Indigenous Nurses Association
The Canadian Indigenous Nurses Assocation aim is to work and connect nurses with communities, health professionals and government institutions on Indigenous Health Nursing issues and practices within the Canadian Health system While also developing and encouraging the teaching of courses in the educational system on Canadian Indigenous health, Indigenous knowledge, cultural safety in nursing and the health care system and/or other educational resources and supports.

The Come Up (y.E.G.) (EDMONTON BASED)

Assembly of Seven Generations (A7G) is an Indigenous owned and youth-led, non-profit organization focused on cultural support and empowerment programs/policies for Indigenous youth while being led by traditional knowledge and Elder guidance.

The Africa Centre is the largest pan African Organization in Western Canada, but with a primary focus within Alberta. Working as a community hub that provides programs and services to a diverse and expansive community.
